Conferences and forums

Our research is presented to the Intelligence membership in a number of different ways:

  • Conferences - each January and June we host one-day conferences that communicate the findings of the session’s topics. These conferences are attended by members from a mix of specialisations and we promote active participation through Q&A and round table discussions.
  • In-house presentations - we tailor the findings of the research so that we can answer the “what does this mean for me” question for each individual member firm.

We also run a series of community and subject matter expert forums for Intelligence members, designed to tackle the immediate challenges facing the industry. Previous forums include:

  • The Operational Impact of UCITS IV
  • Investment Operations Outsourced Managers' Forum
  • How to Make Data Management Succeed

External conferences

We use our Intelligence research work as the foundation for our public conference presentations - we are also often asked to moderate and chair events. Some of recent conferences include:

  • Panel discussion: The management of index data and benchmarks in investment management firms: steps to process maturity. SUPRA 2011, London. September 2011 – Peter Ellis
  • Which metrics CFOs find most valuable for monitoring/predicting their business. European Institute: COO/CFO Roundtable, Amsterdam. June 2011 – Simon Stratford
  • Customisation, Globalisation, Automation. TSAM 2010, London. March 2010 – Peter Ellis

We would be very happy to talk to you about your own requirements and ideas.
