Business process assessment
Investment managers, like all businesses, need to be able to measure the value contributed by their component parts, to understand their competitive strengths and ensure clients and shareholders get value for money. Investment managers also need to be able to benchmark that value against their peers. We have created a methodology that enables them to do all this - a new, unique service, which we call BPA.
Billing processes and support
The study covered eight companies with assets under management totalling nearly $900bn. Each day late issuing an invoice costs these companies collectively around $500,000! The study found a wide range of targets and achieved times for billings, with particular challenges being faced by companies who had introduced performance fees.
Sales team remuneration
Investit completed a study of sales team compensation with responses for 17 teams from 13 companies. The study looked at the methods of calculating sales remuneration, rather than how much is actually paid. The report firstly examined what is being rewarded. We looked at the inputs that are rewarded in terms of activity and behaviour. We looked at the outputs that are rewarded: gross sales, net sales, retention and service.
