Peter Ellis

Peter has tried many competitive team sports over the years and is one of a very small number of people who have suffered a broken nose on three separate occasions while playing three different sports (that is assuming that rugby league and rugby union can be counted as separate sports). Somewhat later in life than was probably advisable, Peter took up skiing on the grounds that he had never met anyone who had broken their nose while skiing. Lacking the stylistic ability of the rest of his family, Peter compensates with a bold approach to skiing that has unnerved experienced ski instructors all over Europe.

He is a lifelong supporter of Manchester City having been born quite literally yards from Maine Road. He is a dedicated patron of the Arts and considers Buffy the Vampire Slayer to be one of the best TV programmes ever made (no, he’s serious). He is currently developing a successful sideline appearing as a celebrity look-alike for Uncle Fester from the Addams Family.
