John Robertshaw

John Robertshaw is a Principal within Investit’s Operations Practice at Investit. He developed the industry leading IT Value Survey for benchmarking the business performance of investment managers’ IT capabilities. Most recently he initiated the work to produce an equivalent capability for assessing operational best practices within investment managers. As a Director of Investit John has a business responsibility for the firm’s finance and secretariat functions.

Recent consulting assignments have included helping firms establish the correct blend of integrated and best of breed solutions for both front office and operational processing and advising on different approaches to globalisation. He also recently authored Investit Intelligence research reports covering Data Management, Corporate Actions, Globalisation and Operational Best Practice.

John has worked in investment management IT and operations for over 25 years. Prior to joining Investit he was Head of IT and subsequently Director of International Operations at Morgan Grenfell Asset Management, now Deutsche Asset Management.
