James Hockley
Business Director and Principal ConsultantJames has more than 25 years financial services experience with proven success in business management, implementing strategic change and improving business performance.
His career includes senior business operations management roles with leading investment management firms, having worked for Barclays Global Investors and Schroders. He has also held business, sales and client relationship management roles with key investor services banks; Bank of New York, JP Morgan and Chase Manhattan. James also has significant expertise in the field of asset servicing and operations outsourcing from the perspective of both the investment management and investor services communities.
At Investit, James’ speciality is in strategic business change with a particular focus on the development and delivery of global operating models and outsourcing. In addition James leads our business development and client relationship management activities.
James has led the development of Investit’s Business Process Assessment methodology and has successfully applied this in numerous assignments. He has advised Investit clients on business and operational transformation with a particular focus on operational platform design, process assessment and improvement, and regulatory and control enhancement – for institutional investment managers, hedge funds, wealth managers and third party administrators.
