Ian Yuill

After finally admitting a combination of age and no talent were significant barriers to continuing his mediocre football career, the search was on for a sport at which Ian could throw his energy, with the distinct possibility of public humiliation. After a foray into marathon running, Ian settled on the sport of choice for today’s discerning mid life crisis candidate; triathlon.

Competing in triathlons provides Ian with an ideal excuse to dress publically in Lycra attire. He also spends lots of money on an endless stream of ridiculously expensive gadgets in the vain belief this will improve his finishing times.

In June 2009 Ian completed his first Ironman event. Physiotherapists across the City are praying that it is not his last.
