Catherine Doherty heads Investit's MENA operations, working with clients in the region to build efficient investment organisations and leading Investit's development of a detailed knowledge bank of information about the region. She also heads Investit's work on non-listed assets and continues to work in her core areas of strategy and planning, as well as working on specialist system selection assignments.

Catherine has developed a methodology for benchmarking investment firms against market and best practice, drawing on Investit's experience established over 1,000 consultancy assignments. She also created Investit’s original Fast Track System Selection Methodology which the firm has used for over 10 years.

Catherine also developed the Investit Intelligence service, which takes a COO's-eye view of the problems behind the scenes in investment management companies. Her research papers include 'Managing an Investment Management Firm', 'Funds Pooling' and 'Change within Investment Management'. Catherine is also widely recognised as an informative and skilled conference presenter.

Catherine has worked in investment management for over 20 years and has been with Investit since 1998. Prior to joining Investit she worked at Gartmore, GAM and BZW.
