Operations Best Practice Benchmark

This self-assessment and comparative benchmark provides a comprehensive dashboard for firms on the relative strength and sophistication of their operations processes.

The analysis is based on the self-assessment questionnaire developed as part of the January 2009 Intelligence research report Defining Operations Best Practice, while the methodology is based on that used in the long-established and successful IT Value Service, which is now in its eighth year.

By collecting qualitative and quantitative data on a number of operations processes across the breadth of the business, we produce a comparative assessment against the universe of participants and a peer group selected by you.

The analysis includes process descriptions, key value statements and guidelines for best practice that have been validated by members of the Intelligence service. Carefully designed capability statements and qualifiers provide a management dashboard of the operational health of your firm.

All this is delivered in a detailed personalised report, accompanied by a briefing from one of our consultants, helping you understand what it all means in context. Importantly, we benchmark your quality of service and efficiency, according to your level of satisfaction.

At present the benchmark has 20 participants from the Intelligence membership – both managers and administrators – and interest is growing globally from leading investment management firms. Please contact us at any of our office locations, if you would like further information on how you can join the benchmark for 2009.
